Analysis of 28 MHz beacon reports from the UK for 2004. (December 2004).

A review of the 28 MHz propagation experienced in 2004 based upon monitoring of 10m beacons by UK listeners. Colour-coded tables are used to display trends and patterns in propagation derived from 15,932 beacons reports.

Meteor Scatter Observations at 50 MHz in the 1980s. (September 2003).

G3IMW presents results and analysis of observations of 50 MHz meteor scatter carried out as part of the research project associated with the issue of special permits before the 6m band was generally available in the UK.

A review of Sporadic E in 2002 (May 2003).

A look at the distribution of sporadic E events at 28 and 50 MHz in 2002, and a discussion on the "areas" measure used in the Six and Ten Reports to quantify Es. 2002 data seem to show repetitions of sporadic E activity at 4 week and 2 week intervals.

Meteor Tests in Southern Africa (April 2003).

A one-page summary of the 90 MHz high power meteor scatter tests carried out in South Africa in the 1950's and 60's. A contribution by Ray Cracknell G2AHU

Analysis of IARU/NCDXF 28 MHz Beacons 1999-2002 (February 2003).

An investigation of 10m propagation trends in the peak years of solar cycle 23 as indicated from monitoring in the UK of the IARU/NCDXF beacon chain on 28.200 MHz. This article includes charts for each beacon showing average daily beacon reliability for each month (defined as the percentage of days per month when the beacon was heard) from data collected between January 1999 and December 2002.
